Onesong, what you did can be very effective even though at times it may seem futile. However, we believe that all proactive measures in exposing the J.W.'s for who they really are works. All one has to do is place a little seed of doubt in the mind of a loyal witness, or even one who is just coming in to the so called "truth". Many ex-J.W.s have found their way free by so-called "apostate" signs in front of Kingdom Halls or assemblies, as well as letters and e-mails such as yours to "card carrying-time reporting"Witnesses. Many nay-sayers think these methods are a waste of time, but it can jump-start the Witness thinking process. Kool aid man believes in taking aggresive,proactive, methods in exposing the falsehood of the Watchtower org. (IF YOU DO NOTHING, NOTHING HAPPENS). This will take place on Wednesday, April 12,2006, the Jehovah's Witnesses Memorial night. We will have a permit and permission from the local Police Dept. to peacefully meet and display our professionally made signs. For example--JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES ARE A DANGEROUS CULT--OVER 23,000 ALLEGED PEDOPHILIES ON FILE AT WATCHTOWER HQ. THOUSANDS HAVE DIED DUE TO THE EVER CHANGING BLOOD DOCTRINES, ETC. If anyone is interested in participating, please let me know. This is the best day of the year to demonstrate in view of new Bible studies attending, relatives attending, persons of interest to see the other side of the Watchtower org. Let's help people from ever wanting to be a J.W. It is easier to stop people from getting in than trying to get Witnesses out! I wish in my early years (over 50 years) that someone would have stood in front of my Kingdom Hall with such signs. All you need to do is plant a litle seed of doubt. IT WORKS!

is there a special kind of bread and bevarge that is need.. another question i have is what is leaven bread and what is unleaven bread?.

Here is how it reads in the NWT translation: John 6:53-54--"Accordingly Jesus said to them: "Most truly I say to You, Unless You eat the flesh of the Son of man and drink his blood, you have no life in Yourselves. He that feeds on my flesh and drinks my blood has everlasting life, and I shall resurrect him at the last day;". Matthew 18:20 states-"For where there are two or three gathered together in my name, there I am in their midst." Nowhere in these scriptures or any others did He say that only a certain amount of people only could do this as the Watchtower organization teaches. Jesus words were meant for ALL who would believe on Him and who he really is--THE GREAT I AM! The date of the Memorial that Jehovah's Witnesses will hold on April 12 this year is of little importance. They are what is known as QUARTODECIMANS--those who hold to the practice of this event once a year on the Jewish date of Nisan 14. Get together with two or three other Christians if you can and partake of the bread and wine as Jesus commanded. If you don't know of anyone else you can commune with, read your Bible (hopefully you have a REAL Bible as well as the NWT), say a heartfelt prayer, and partake of the bread and wine. Don't worry about what kind of bread or wine you have as long as you are partaking out of a sincere heart. I wish you well.

I am in the sign advertising business, and signs no doubt can have a big impact in the community. We have been experimenting here in New England with sign advertising on telephone poles exposing Jehovah's Witnesses for who they really are and trying to entise Witnesses to call. Our message simply was (black letters on a white background) Jehovah's Witnesses have you found out yet?. We received numerous phone calls, some even from elders, whose numbers showed up on the I.D. box. they listened to a recorded message. We have also used a large 10 ft. banner, we have placed in front of our house for six weeks, as well as using this as part of our memorial night "demonstrative gesture" in front of the Kingdom Hall. The banner simply read "Over 23,000 alleged child molesters on file at Watchtower headquarters". To find out who these predators are locally call (978) 851-2924 for a recorded message. A young married ministerial servant set up video cameras in his home to film sisters in his bathroom,young and old. Since a book study was in his home, he had quite a collection of films, which we heard may have even been sold. Another brother told the elders and they did disfellowship this "holy spirit appointed" video voyeur, and the elders encouraged him to go to another cong. None of the rank and file were told what happened, but it did get around. We know one sister who visited us who literally collapsed on the floor when she found out what he did as she used to house sit for him and his wife. One elder actually pinned him up against the wall in the Kingdom Hall and threatened to kill him, until another elder pulled him away! Not long after, we found out he moved, with his wife and baby, a thousand miles away. He now lives in Tennessee, far away from where this scandal took place. In other words--he was run out of Dodge!

THE GOVERMENT AND SHUNNING.....
by Mary inafter reading the tragedy of puternut, i was thinking that perhaps it's time that the government took another look at what can happen when they allow religions like the jws, to cut off family members without a second thought.
surely someone's rights to have normal religions with their family should come before freedom of religion.
isn't it ironic that the gb fought so hard in court to obtain freedom of religion, yet their own members commit suicide when they try to express this very right.

What a great subject, but take comfort that the government, at least in the U.S.A, has been made aware of the practice of shunning by Jehovah's Witnesses. We have been told that religions do have a right to practice shunning, so we have brought to the attention of local and federal agencies the fact that Jehovah's Witnesses teach and practice hatred! This is clearly seen in their publications such as is stated in Watchtower Oct. 1,1952, July 15,1992-Sept. 15, 1993, July 1,1994, June 15,1995, March 15, 1996, and one truly offensive statment made in the Watchtower Nov. 15, 1952, which states:"
Being limited by the laws of the worldly nation in which we live and also by the laws of God through Jesus Christ, we can take action against apostates only to a certain extent, that is, consistent with both sets of laws. The law of the land and God's law through Christ forbid us to kill apostates, even though they be members of our own flesh-and-blood family relationship. However, God's law requires us to recognize their being disfellowshipped from his congregation , and this despite the fact that the law of the land in which we live requires us under some natural obligation to live with and have dealings with such apostates under the same roof."
This disgusting Watchtower article is, in fact, encouraged and enforced hatred to be shown to any and all who disagree with the Watchtower organization! This is without question to be considered inflamatory, and needs further investigation by the proper governmental authorities.

No JWs in sight....what happened to them?

i have been home every weekend, saturday and sunday mornings.
i live in a big city, in a densely housed area.. there has not been a single jw door-knocker this entire time!!!!

Mr. and Mrs KOOL AID MAN are two ex-anointed J.W.s that are totally appauled with the conduct of the Jehovah's Witnesses. Their shunning and enforced hatred is deplorable! We feel the people in our New England community have the right to know who Jehovah's Witnesses really are, and what they are hiding behind. We started an agressive, active campaign of going door to door and putting our neighbors on notice on how dangerous it could be for them to accept the teachings of the Watchtower Organization. When approaching the householders we immediately tell them we are NOT Jehovah's Witnesses, and the majority are glad to hear that! We then ask the resident if Jehovah's Witnesses have visited them recently. We are very suprised when most of them tell us the Witnesses are not coming to their door any more. We think the door to door ministry of the J.W.s is not as bountiful as it used to be. People are just not responding, so we feel they are concentrating on reaching people more by way of telephone, parking lot witnessing, train and bus station recruiting, letter writing, and even trying to witness to people on internet chatrooms, such as this one. Although the Society highly discourages internet dialog, we are sure they are pleased to accept the hours of witnessing on the internet!

Welcome to the board! We too are born again Christians. We both had the experience while still in the organization, what they would call members of the 144,000 group. We know now that is only one of the many misunderstood teachings of the Watchtower cult. WE were members for over forty years, and finally left a couple of years ago. Looking forward to reading more of your posts and, once again welcome!
